Saansad Aadarsh Gram Yojna (SAGY) is a landmark initiative of Govt of India which holds the potential to address these complex issues and deliver the inclusive model of development in India. Not only it dovetails the plethora of schemes, quantifies the learnings but also aspires people to improve their Quality of Life. This golden opportunity has to be capitalized as a society for which we have to redefine services, systems and processes till it is able to empower and impact every single individual in the identified village and then replicate it across varied geographic locations.
Activities under SAGY are being implemented in Jehanabad (Bihar) with financial support of district administration under MPLADS. The project components includes construction of drainage system, safe drinking water, construction of Farmers Resource and Training Center (CRTC) and installation of Sanitary Napkin manufacture unit. Similarly, rural infrastructure development activities like construction of road, culvert, drainage system, renovation of water conservation structures, renovation of Panchayat Bhawan/ ICDS, construction of bus stand are in progress in Kariyani/ Wadhwan (Gujarat) under Mukhya Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana (MMAGY).
Skill Development Programme, Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana
Skill development program was conducted at Jhabua supported by ASCI under PMKVY. 200 students have successfully completed training in different trades such as Supply Chain Field Assistant, Agriculture Extension Executives, as per NSDC norms. Under supply chain management 100 Local youth of Jhabua were trained to manage the flow of goods and ensures continuity of supply by identifying the needs right from procurement, packing and transporting the local produce to ensuring all requisites carried out for fresh quality of stock maintained till it reaches the buyer.
Swachh Bharat Swachh School Programme
CFM strives to contribute to the objectives of Department of Water Supply & Sanitation regarding water and sanitation service, reducing open defecation, community mobilization and capacity building, construction of IHHL WASH campaign, development of IEC materials with technical and professional staff support in planning and implementation of water and sanitation projects.
CFM is implementing Swachh Bharat Swachh School Programme in Ganjam and Balasore (Odisha). 240 pre-fabricated (Ferro concrete) Bio-Toilets with water arrangement were constructed in Government schools. The programme was supported by GAIL under their CSR mandate. The organization is also engaged in IHHL construction in rural area of Jhabua district with financial support of district administration. Under Swachh Bharat Mission (G) installation of 100 Bio Toilets is in progress at Raska/Wadhwan (Guj) with financial support of Pipavav Railway Corporation Limited (PRCL), Delhi under CSR mandate.
